Our ministry
We are full-heartedly involved in reaching to people who do not know living Jesus, yet, and to planting simple organic churches. We support and develop a network of small churches in the CZECH REPUBLIC, Europe.
We do our best to start informal Bible studies with non-believers and thus we introduce Jesus to them. Besides that we train believers so that they would be effective with the people around them.
Our greatest dream is to see a healthy movement in the sense of multiple generations of disciples and also generations of small churches. We assist them, coach them, and personally encourage them, so that they would repeat the process multiple times with their own new people, who would do the same…
The training „Bridges to People“
Our Christian friends quite often ask, „How do you get total nonbelievers to your Bible study?“ The question reflects how difficult it might be in our country to invite someone to such a thing.
Collecting our own experience and observations elsewhere we came up with principles that are helpful – even in the very atheistic context of the Czech Republic. I (Pavel) developed a series of online lessons, each in the form of 5-minutes video and full text (the scripts have been translated into English).
Then, with a team of more than 20 trainers we practically train believers from various denominations in using these proven simple and practical tools and skills to connect with their own non-believers effectively. Some of the attendees then start sharing the Gospel and put together their own new groups around the Bible, which is our great joy! Now, we provide the training online on Zoom, which allows us to invite even more believers from the whole Czech Republic and Slovakia! Those who are active with non-believers we follow up in various ways.
Our Story
In 1993 as a team of 12, we planted a new local church in the city of Ostrava, Czech Republic, Europe. This fellowship grew exclusively through non-believers coming to know the Lord. In 1999 we were over 70, and about 20 left to start another church in other part of the city. Since 2003 we initiated a series of large outdoor and indoor events (open-air attendance up to 2,200!). All this with the desire that more people would get to know Jesus, and start to live with Him.
After a clear call from the Lord in 2005, I (Pavel) passed all of my responsibilities in our church to younger mature leaders, and in 2006 Danka and I started from scratch a new ministry of new small fellowships focused on people who do not know Jesus. In 2010 with blessing and prayers, our church sent us out as missionaries to our home country – the Czech Republic. The network of simple churches is slowly growing.
Besides our original secular education (Pavel in technical cybernetics, Danka in management & economics) on our journey we gladly used opportunity to achieve M.A. degrees in practical theology with TCM, Austria; Pavel reached even M.Div. degree there.

Our Country
The population of the Czech Republic is just over 10 million. Less than 0.5% belong to evangelical Christianity. About 90 % officially express no affiliation to any religion. Absolute majority of the people have never heard about living Jesus, nor have read the Bible.
Brief history of the Czech Republic
In 1918, after 300 years of national and religious oppression by the former Austro-Hungarian Empire and Germans, the closely related Czechs and Slovaks merged to form a free country of Czechoslovakia. After World War II, communists took the country over (1948) to oppress anything differing from their ideology. Many Christian leaders were threatened, some imprisoned, no public evangelism was allowed for decades. In 1968, invasion of Russian armies ended efforts of people who strived for liberation from communist rule. A period of harsh repression ensued.
With the collapse of communism in 1989, through a peaceful so-called “Velvet Revolution,” Czechoslovakia regained its freedom. On January 1st, 1993, the country underwent a “velvet divorce” into its two national components, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The Czech Republic joined NATO in 1999 and the European Union in 2004.
